A Lamp to Light the Path
Lest I fall at evening time And stumble in the darkness, I seek the lamp to light my path, His Word the way revealing.
Confusion comes from the world around Lies and truth entwining Without the Spirit which separates The real from Satan’s devising.
Jesus is the Truth and Way There is no other path, Though in the world many strive To convince of vain alternatives.
Lord, protect our minds from partial truths Which seem to convince so many, And keep us grounded in the Word With our eyes always fixed on Jesus.
