Fear of Man

Jesus Is the Bridge Ministries

Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I
trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the
noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that
flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that
wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it
shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso
putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and
body in hell.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of
power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out
fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Thought of the Day

The solution to fear of what men may do, for the Christian, is trust in God.
We learn to trust him through the promises of his Word, through the comfort of
prayer, and through difficult circumstances he sees us through/  As we
allow more and more of God's love to work in our lives, there is less and less
room for fear.  Scripture clearly says the two cannot exist together
